We established our first house, Glenlyon House, in 2002. We now provide high quality residential care for 14 children and young people aged 6 years to 21 years, across four houses located within Central Fife. We feel privileged to be able to support and enable our children and young people to be all they can be. Offering them nurturing and loving relationships which continue into their adult lives. We want to give them skills in self-regulation, build their self-esteem and confidence and develop their resilience in order they can go onto have meaningful and trusting adult relationships. For some children and young people residential care is a positive choice. We work in partnership with families/carers, local authorities, education and health services. We have built up a network of professional associates and associations to enhance the service we offer. Our reputation is one of working towards and, in the main achieving the best outcomes for our children and young people, this may be returning home, moving to an alternative family or long term nurture, love and care within Cairn Mhor.
