Dennis started trading in haulage / demolition / reclamation and recycling old prefabs and had fruitful dealings with the Ministry for many years. He proceeded with his wife Barbara to expand the business throughout the 50s, 60s and 70s, reclaiming timber beams and building products from old buildings / churches in the Warwickshire area. Since their fathers passing, daughters Kaye and Louise have continued their fathers enthusiasm. Their modern mill specialises in cutting and planing of timber and sheet materials, most of the time they can convert while you wait. Deliveries are by their own dedicated fleet, which includes a transit pickup, 7.5 ton lorry mounted crane or 11 ton crane mounted vehicle for bulk deliveries. Today Brockwells are a thriving independent builder’s merchants, specialising in timber / sheet materials, importing products from managed forests, they compliment this with a full range of related products to the trade and public. They continue to operate family values with an efficient friendly service, with over 150 years experience in the trade they are more than capable of advising customers of the right product for their end use.
