Brimblecombe Brothers & Sons is a long established family firm of traditional, modern and general builders, a company who has just celebrated their first Century of consistent work. The Company started proper contractual building work around 1901 in Moretonhampstead, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. At first the building, restoration and construction work carried out was centred around local small towns and villages near the family home, more to do with available transportation means than the will to travel elsewhere! Nowadays Brimblecombe Bros as a well known Devon Building firm are covering the whole of Devon, North Cornwall and West Somerset. The company is currently headed by Rob Brimblecombe, a Joiner by trade with over 30 years of experience in the Construction Industry and justifiably proud of the award winning family business and the company’s historical roots. With such a wide variety of large and smaller projects running at any one time, the company has employed the valuable experience and expertise of an in-house estimator and surveyor, affectionately referred to as “Roger“. Roger, his actual name, has vast experience and specialised knowledge in Conservation and General Building Contracts. This is a very important credential when working with older, listed and beautiful West Country buildings.
