Our focus is on prevention to help patients look after their teeth and getting youngsters used to regular check-ups and hygiene visits if required. At your initial examination and after taking digital radiographs we will discuss your requirements and offer a treatment plan after assessing your gums and oral hygiene and checking your mouth for signs of oral cancer. Raghu graduated from Edinburgh University Dental School in 1991 before joining the Royal Air Force, serving for 18 years in a variety of posts, both at home and overseas, including operational tours in the Falkland Island, Iraq and also helping the international effort in identifying victims of the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami in Thailand 2005. On leaving the Royal Air Force in 2009 Raghu joined Bridge Dental Surgeries. He regularly updated his professional skills having gained a number of postgraduate qualifications and maintains a keen interest in root canal treatment, using an operating microscope to help achieve a high success rate. He is also very interested in cosmetic dentistry and regularly carries out treatment plans to restore dental implants. He completed the General Dental Councils’ ‘Core Requirements for Dental Implants’ and achieved the Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2010.
