Founded in 1993 by our Director and Optometrist Fiona, Bowen Opticians started life as a small home visiting service. The company has evolved quite dramatically since then but the same core values remain. Based in a modern and stylish setting in the heart of Worle Village, we have established a name for ourselves synonymous with outstanding service and clinical excellence. Our gold standard approach to patient care has won us national recognition from organisations such as the Association of Optometrists, Optician Magazine and The Somerset Chamber of Commerce. In 2017 we were awarded the Autism Friendly award from the National Autistic Society as a result of our continued efforts to provide individualized eye care. We are, at present, the only opticians in England to hold this award. We are very proud of our independent status and invest time and money into ensuring our equipment, products and knowledge are first rate. Our passion for eyecare doesn’t end within the walls of the practice, we take it out into the community too, from our educational programme in local schools and nurseries, to taking part in charitable campaigns.
