Bob Basted Car Sales has been established since 1963. Bob started started selling cars following his return to Norwich having done his national service in the RAF, he started with just one or two til the business got too big and he had to take on the site here at 85 Drayton Road Norwich. Bob has always sourced most of his stock locally from traders and dealerships, after years of practice he has a keen eye for a nice car! In 1986 Bobs daughter Kate joined the business making her one of very few females in the trade at that time. Kate is still working along side Bob making the company family friendly with no pressure selling tactics. Bob Basted has sold cars to people from all over the country and in fact all over the world. Customers have come from Manchester, Scotland, Northern and southern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Gloucester, Northampton to France, Spain, Norway, Africa and as far as New Zealand. Many of Bobs customers still come to him for cars and some are now looking to buy for their grandchildren, 3 generations of customers!!!
