Years of car swapping, enjoying the car scene, going to car, bike and 4×4 shows and meeting like-minded folk gave them a great circle of friends. A couple of children later and Nick was now working for a local estate maintaining and looking after a fleet of vehicles — mainly farm machinery and land rovers — and an Agricultural Engineer. Gemma was also back to work, working part-time for a local sign making company screen printing T-shirts and designing and making safety signs.
