I’ve been a singing teacher since 2011. Before doing this, despite having a love for music and studying at degree level, I have done project management, been involved in housing and sustainability policies in local government, and run some amazing buildings as a Serviced Offices Manager including 1-7 Harley Street, London. I've also performed in some amazing places such as Washington National Cathedral, Verona Amphitheatre, and Tivoli Gardens. I've even sung for the Royal Family. So why singing teaching? Well, 6 months after I got married, I turned to my husband and said that I wasn’t enjoying my day job (or words to that effect), and quit. I was already Music Director for Rother Community Choir, and it was this (and the lovely Sally Vennard) that inspired me to change careers. Since then we’ve relocated to Northamptonshire, for my husband’s work. Move forward a few years, I now have three children. Thinking life was too quiet for me, I decided to start my Post Grad Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy (very posh terms) which I completed in 2018.
