After extensive refurbishment, Allseasons opened on the Millennium New Year’s Eve. The Business has been running for 20years, but Karen and Michael have been teaching Ballroom, Latin American and Sequence dancing for around 30 years each. The Studio is open 7 days a week and teaches pupils between the ages of three to 93! A wide variety of classes are on offer for adults from beginners to advanced, and social dances are run twice a month. Children’s classes are very popular and all students go through the medal test system. Since it started in 1990 Allseasons have entered more than 5,000 candidates. An examiner is appointed by the two associations of which Karen, Michael & David are licenctiate members – The United Kingdom Alliance of Teachers of Dance and the International Dance Teachers Association – both associations are recognised by the British Dance Council. All three are also qualified adjudicators with the British Dance Council and Karen along with David were International Inventive Dance winners in 2005 & 2006.
