I returned to college, followed by university and gained a Foundation & Batchelor of Arts degree in Interior design, this was done while raising my four children and renovating my properties. I opened Alchemist’s Interior Design Ltd for business in 2007 focusing purely on interior design and working with local tradespeople to complete the projects. Then in 2013 I set up my soft furnishings workroom and began to make clients curtains to their unique specification. With a growing demand, this became the next progression for the company. Having always made my own or had my nan make my curtains it seemed the natural progression of the company. Alchemist’s Interior design specialises in soft furnishings. It works with a range of private clients and professional designers to provide bespoke soft furnishings for their projects which I love!
