Our first Southsea premises was destroyed in a 2nd W.War blitz on Portsmouth 10th Jan 1941, and in 1946 then we moved 50yds to our 2nd building, the well known Southsea landmark The Clock Tower and have been trading there as a family business ever since, the business being carried on by the grandson of the founder also Alfred Fleming and his wife Christel. But having completed some 55 years and having sold The Clock Tower to Tony Wood hairdressers, Alfred and Christel have decided it is time to call it a day in Southsea and so after some 108 years in the same road Flemings will no longer be at The Clock Tower in Castle Rd. However Alfred Fleming can still be contacted by email or telephone and would be happy to give friendly advice regarding buying and selling anything antique, from fine period items to downsizing and we buy scrap gold and silver. We also still have access to the services of our highly skilled cabinet maker, silver and jewellery and picture restorers.
