Began teaching in 1997, and became fully qualified in 1998. Taught with a leading driving school until December 2005, when A 4 Automatic was founded. Taught manual, but now provides lessons strictly in an automatic. Currently not teaching due to change of career. I have been working as an ADI since 1997 where i trained with a national driving school. I originally trained for manual teaching which I did for almost 4 years of my career, but one day was asked to try out an automatic. Having never even considered the idea of driving an automatic ( I believed them boring and dull ) I was amazed. Having loved my time in the car and realised the potential the idea of teaching in an automatic was actually more suited to myself. So I changed to be an automatic instructor and the school even sent me on a course down to London. This training course down at Banstead Mobility Centre provided me with the training and qualifications to teach disabled drivers. I now only cover the Doncaster area for lessons and tests. I charge by the hour but if you wish you can pay for blocks of 10/20 hours. The blocks of lessons are at a reduced fee, but are payable upfront by either cash or cheque.
